STUDENTS SEEK ACTION ON TUITION REVIEW FROM MINISTER OF ADVANCED EDUCATION

Over the past eight weeks, students across the province from the University of Alberta, University of Calgary, University of Lethbridge, Mount Royal University, and MacEwan University, have participated in our Tuition Forecast Campaign, writing letters and emails to the Minister of Advanced Education seeking action on the Ministry of Advanced Education's Tuition Review. 

Since the implementation of the tuition freeze in 2015, CAUS has continually advocated for a response from the government that seeks to make tuition more predictable, accessible, and affordable for students in Alberta, and we are anxious to hear from them on the matter. 

We invite you to attend a brief press conference which will include statements from both our Chair and Vice Chair, following which all written letters will be personally delivered to Minister Marlin Schmidt's office in the Legislature Building. We also invite members of the media to reach out to the Minister directly for comment.
